The panel of PP Chairman Ahmed Khan, Vice Chairman Abdul Haq was declared successful in the recounting on the seat of District Sharqi UC 6 Safura Town of Karachi.
The panel of the People’s Party secured 2096 votes while the panel of its opponent Jamaat-e-Islami stood second with 1843 votes.
The Returning Officer issued Form 14 after recounting.
It should be noted that the People’s Party had requested a recount from the Election Commission on this seat.
