Governor of Sindh talks to the media along with the parents of slain YouTuber Saad (Photo Express News)
Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri has termed the incidents of street crime and other incidents in Karachi as target killings and said that the purpose of these incidents is to stop foreign investment in the city of Quaid.
According to the details, Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori reached the house of the deceased YouTuber Saad Siddiqui, who was shot dead by the security guard in Serena Mobile Market, where he expressed his condolences to the YouTuber’s parents and prayed for the deceased’s forgiveness and elevation.
Governor Sindh described the sudden death of the YouTuber as sad and said that it was a very sad incident which was strongly condemned and directed a transparent investigation on which the police will submit a report in ten days. Sindh Governor announced that he will bear all the education expenses of the deceased’s children himself and said that he will also talk to the well-wishers regarding the support of the victim’s family.
The parents of the deceased Saad Siddiqui thanked the Governor for his visit and said that we have received a lot of courage and hope for justice from his arrival.
Later, while talking to the media, the Sindh Governor said that what should we answer to the parents, sisters and children of the deceased Saad today? Why are educated youth and YouTubers of Karachi being targeted?
In response to a question, Governor Sindh said that foreign investors are being sent a message not to invest in the city by killing targets. Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori said that under a conspiracy, Karachi is being made an abandoned city, but we will not allow this to happen.
He requested the judiciary to keep an eye on the street crime and murder cases and not grant bail to the accused named in them. In response to a question, Governor Sindh said that security companies should be scrutinized. He further said that we have to fix the system of oppression, don’t do politics, sit down, today I will not hold any political party responsible.
Addressing the Provincial Home Minister, Kamran Tesuri said that he should take notice of the incidents of ‘target killing’ going on in the city and arrest the accused involved in them as soon as possible.
