Islamabad: Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, one of the six judges who sent a letter to the Supreme Judicial Council regarding interference in the judiciary, has once again said that judges do not have independence.

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of Islamabad High Court in District and Sessions Courts Islamabad while addressing the event titled Practice in High Court and Legal Ethics said that we become judges for honor otherwise judges have no freedom here.

He said that there is no freedom at all in advocacy here, everything is being recorded and we remain prisoners.

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said that people pray to us for giving justice, due to which respect remains.
