Karachi: The citizen who staged a suicide drama on Seaview came to the fore.
According to Express, Tahir Mahmood, a resident of Shah Faisal Colony, made a video call to his wife on Monday night and told her that he was committing suicide, after which the connection was lost. Today, Tahir Mehmood came to the scene and was taken into custody by Shah Faisal Colony police.
Citizen Tahir Mehmood told the media that he was making a drama due to domestic violence, went knee-deep in water and made a video call to his wife and told her that I am committing suicide. I had left it, my wife said my condition will worsen, I switched off the phone.
Tahir said that he had a bitter conversation with his wife for cooking food in the house and left the house in anger, he just wanted to scare the family members. Meanwhile, four people came there and called me by name. Something bit me and I fainted when I regained consciousness I was in Nazimabad, I had some injuries on my legs, I reached home in Shah Faisal Colony early in the morning on foot.
Tahir Mahmood’s father says that the institutions have helped a lot in the search for his son, so we are happy that Tahir has returned home safely.
On the other hand, the duty officer of Shah Faisal Colony police station Ibrahim said that Polihas had received information that Tahir had come to a hospital in Shah Faisal Colony for treatment and his statement had been recorded by calling such police station.
He said that Tahir first faked suicide and now he has given the opposite statement, Tahir will be handed over to Darakshan police and Darakshan police will investigate Tahir further.
It should be noted that the citizen’s ancestry is from Rahim Yar Khan, who married first in the family and second in Karachi, he works as an online taxi driver in his personal car.
