Islamabad: Companies are not showing interest in the outsourcing of the federal capital’s airport, for which the tender date has been extended.
According to Express News, due to lack of interest in the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport, the Civil Aviation Authority has extended the tender date by 2 months, after which the bid date has now been fixed on May 15, 2024.
According to the sources, sufficient results could not be found for the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport, on which the Civil Aviation Authority issued a new order to extend the tender date.
The government plans to raise billions of funds through the outsourcing of Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore airports. In this regard, applications have been invited from interested domestic and international companies to lease the airport.
In the first phase, outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport has been decided.
