Lahore: Taking action, Leh police arrested the accused involved in gang rape and robbery along with the head nurse of DHQ Hospital.
According to the spokesman of Punjab Police, the accused involved in gang rape and robbery of the nurse of DHQ Hospital were arrested within a few hours of the incident.
The brutal accused include Fayaz, Manzoor Hussain and Imran, the three accused entered the house of head nurse Shazia Tufail at night and subjected her to gang rape and robbery at gunpoint.
According to the spokesman, the Leh City police station traced out the unknown suspects using modern technology and arrested them.
Meanwhile, Additional IG South Punjab Kamran Khan reached the house of the affected head nurse Shazia Tufail and assured justice to the victim and said that the cruel accused will be punished severely.

The Additional IG said that for the protection of women, the Anti-Women Harassment and Violence Cell established across Punjab has been fully activated and students, housewives and working ladies are being provided peaceful environment and complete security. .
Additional IG South Punjab Kamran Khan congratulated the Leah police team for arresting the accused immediately, DPO Leah Asadur Rehman, SP Legal South Punjab Hakim Noel were also present on the occasion.
It should be noted that last day the nurses of District Headquarters Hospital Leh were gang-raped by bandits during the robbery.
