The deceased had bought the said flat in the name of his wife a month ago
Karachi: A dead body of a man was found in a flat in Emaar Tower near Seaview Two Darya, who was shot in the head.
The body of 35-year-old Jahanzeb Malik was found in the 20th floor flat of Emaar Tower in Defense Phase 8, who was shot dead.
According to the police, Jahanzeb Malik was shot on the head from behind with a 9mm pistol which crossed from the other side.
The deceased had married a woman named Shireen a few years ago, with whom he has a son and a daughter. The deceased had purchased the said flat a month ago in the name of his wife, while the wife has been mysteriously missing since the incident, which the police suspect that she may be involved in the incident.
The brother of the deceased has given a statement to the police that his children have been at their grandparents’ house since night.
35-year-old Jahanzeb’s father Ghulam Rasool told the police that he was at his son’s house till 1 o’clock on Sunday night and brought his children home with him while his daughter-in-law Shireen was admitted to a private hospital in Clifton. She had come home.
He said that on Sunday night, my son told me to come to the shop early on Monday morning to discuss some business matters. But kept on calling but there was no answer, on which I reached my son’s house and no one opened the door, then I broke the door and went inside and found my son’s body lying there and my daughter-in-law was not there.
He said that my son has 2 cars which are parked in the basement parking but one car was not there. There is also a niece and we don’t know who killed my son.
