Lahore: The 3 innocent girls kidnapped from Iqbal town were safely recovered by the police while the accused was also arrested.
ASP Model Town Rizwana Malik said in the press conference that the Kot Lakhpat police arrested the brutal accused who lured the girls and kidnapped them and sold them.
ASP said that a case of abduction of girls was registered in Iqbal Town police station and a report was given about the girls through wireless. The abducted girls include 17-year-old Mehek, 16-year-old Aisha and 12-year-old Nasha.
The female police officer said that a special team was formed to recover the girls safely and to arrest the accused, the accused was traced to Wahdat Road map stop with the help of modern technology, the accused Mohsin forced the three girls into the map stop house. It was closed.
ASP Model Town further informed that the three abducted girls are residents of Bhikhewal Mor slum, the accused named Mohsin had lured the girls from Raza Block of Iqbal Town by blackmailing them with money. The accused confessed that he used to kidnap poor and destitute girls and take them to remote areas and sell them for money.
ASP Model Town Rizwana Malik said that the accused has a previous record in more than 49 cases like robbery, theft and kidnapping.
