Rawalpindi: Former PTI MPA Chaudhry Adnan, who was targeted for killing in Rawalpindi, was cremated.
The funeral prayer of deceased Chaudhry Adnan will be offered in front of John Haveli on Jhanda Chichi Road. A large number of people participated in the funeral prayer.
A large number of political and social personalities, including former candidate Peoples Party Constituency NA 57 Mukhtar Abbas, former MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, Zamrad Khan, Shakeel Awan, Syed Arif Shirazi, Zaheer Ahmed Awan, and a large number of local people participated in the funeral prayer.
Police will make strict security arrangements during the funeral prayer, the deceased was buried in the local cemetery.
Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Member of Provincial Assembly Chaudhry Adnan was target-killed by unknown armed men near Jinnah Park in Police Lines in Rawalpindi yesterday.
The slain Chaudhry Adnan had expressed detachment from the May 9 tragedy and contested the general elections 2024 as an independent. In two different press conferences, he announced that he would contest the elections as an independent and told that he was not issued a ticket by the PTI.
