Former national team captain Babar Azam has said that Sarfraz Ahmed has a big hand in the position I am in today.
Speaking during a question and answer session on micro-blogging website X’s space, Sarfaraz Ahmed said, “I always like my beats.”
He said that there are ups and downs in the career, a person learns in ups and downs, some people come down on personalities which are not good.
He said that I always keep myself positive and think positive, sometimes ignore the negative things.
Babar said that when mistakes happen, I talk to my close ones and mentors.
He said that as a professional you are not perfect, you try to be consistent and give good performance all the time.
In response to a question about fellow player Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam said that there is no pressure while playing with Fakhar Zaman, while the other team is under pressure.
The former captain said that whenever Fakhar Zaman plays an innings, the match becomes one-sided.
Regarding Bangladeshi food, Babar Azam said that the food here is a little sweet.
On the national team’s defeat by Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup 2022, Babar said that he was heartbroken and emotional after losing to Zimbabwe.
Answering a question about getting emotional in a positive way, Babar said that being named in the Pakistan team for the first time was one of the most emotional moments of his life.
Talking about his biggest goal, Babar Azam said that the biggest goal is to win the World Cup and perform in it.
Babar Azam called Pakistan Super League (PSL) the best league in the world.
