Fear of terrorist attacks, four universities closed in Islamabad

Islamabad: Due to security concerns, four universities in Islamabad have been closed for the time being.

According to Express News, the security agencies have issued a threat alert in this regard, expressing fear of attacks on some educational institutions in Islamabad, after which four universities have been closed due to attacks and security concerns.

Late night security agencies have also conducted search operations in the suburbs of Islamabad, but no information has come out regarding arresting or not.

In the threat alert, the fear of attacks on universities including suicide attacks by the banned organization has been expressed.

According to sources, these universities include Quaid-e-Azam University, National Defense University, Air University and Bahria University which have been closed for an indefinite period and the students have been informed about this late at night.

At present, nothing has been said as to when these universities will be opened for students, it is likely that these universities will remain closed for several days.

A video message of IG Islamabad has come out on the issue of sudden holiday of educational institutions in Islamabad, in which he said that some news is circulating regarding educational institutions in Islamabad, I assure the people that Islamabad The security and law and order situation is under control.

Dr. Akbar Nasir said that there is a complete ban on illegal gatherings in Islamabad, if someone tries to hold illegal gatherings, we tell him that gatherings cannot be held in view of any prior notice or law and order situation. However we provide them with security, the situation is not such that you make any changes in your educational institutions and routines out of fear.

He said that the police will continue to serve you diligently, will provide a safe environment in which the peaceful conduct of the election will be possible, there is no such situation in Islamabad due to which normal life will be affected, people should listen to rumours. Don’t stop, don’t take unnecessary actions that might compromise the security situation.
