Lahore: In the new campus of Punjab University, 5 were injured while 24 were arrested due to a clash between student groups.
According to details, the incident took place outside the hostel number 9 of New Campus. Clashes between student groups broke out in the canteen in the afternoon and firing, sticks and stones were used indiscriminately.
Apart from this, the police said that 27 students have been arrested while many escaped and a case has been registered under the provisions of terrorism and attempted murder. According to the police, the canteen and university property were severely damaged during the clash.
