Islamabad: In the context of Pakistan-Iran tension, the meetings of the National Security Committee and the Federal Cabinet were called yesterday.
According to Express News, a briefing will be given on the latest situation between Iran and Pakistan in the meeting of the National Security Committee and the Federal Cabinet under the chairmanship of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar will arrive in Pakistan tonight from Davos.
All service chiefs and federal ministers will participate in the meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by the Caretaker Prime Minister, in which the tense situation between Pakistan and Iran will be taken into consideration.
Apart from this, the current security situation of the country will be considered in the meeting of the federal cabinet called for tomorrow, Friday. The meeting will be chaired by the caretaker prime minister tomorrow at 2 o’clock.

It should be noted that Pakistan has hit the hideouts of terrorists in Iran while giving a strong response to Iran’s missile attack. After which, in the statement issued by the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, it has been said that Pakistan has targeted the hideouts of terrorists in Sistan and Balochistan province of Iran.
According to the spokesman, several terrorists were killed during the intelligence-based Operation Murgabar Sarmchar. Pakistan did not target any civilian or Iranian installations in the retaliatory action. Pakistan also shared with Iran several dossiers with concrete evidence of the presence and activities of Baloch separatists.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office says that due to non-implementation of our serious reservations, the so-called Sarmachar continued to shed the blood of innocent Pakistanis. Action against terrorists was carried out this morning in the light of confirmed intelligence.
