Lahore: Anti-corruption establishment Punjab has said that Dr. Yasmeen Rashid misused her powers and got her daughter employed against merit.
On the issue of the appointment of former health minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s daughter against merit, the spokesperson of Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab has said that Dr. Yasmin Rashid misused her powers and appointed her daughter against merit, it was proved in the anti-corruption inquiry. That the former health minister used his influence to get his daughter’s job.
According to the spokesperson, anti-corruption case was filed against Dr. Yasmin Rashid and her daughter after the inquiry.
Dr. Ayesha Ali did not meet the required criteria at the time of her appointment, the experience certificate of Dr. Ayesha Ali was signed by her mother Dr. Yasmeen Rashid herself, and the age of Dr. Ayesha Ali at the time of employment was 47 years while the age for appointment. The maximum limit was 40 years.
According to Anti-Corruption, Dr. Ayesha Ali did not submit any application for age relaxation as per law, and she was deliberately preferred over other candidates in the interview.
