Peshawar: National Accountability Bureau (Kyber Pakhtunkhwa) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued summon notices to two former provincial ministers of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Speaker National Assembly.
NAB has summoned former speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, former provincial minister Atif Khan and Shahram Tarkai on January 10, 2024.
According to the notice, complaints have been received against the former ministers and the speaker for irregularities in the construction of the road from Mardan to Swabi.
According to NAB spokesman, there are complaints against former provincial minister Atif Khan of widespread corruption and misuse of powers in sports and tourism projects.
It is stated in the statement that the chairman of NAB has directed a formal investigation on the relevant complaints, after which the three persons have been summoned for investigation on July 10.
