Lahore: The killer of 50 people, including the attack on the ISI Faisalabad office, was killed along with his partner during the police encounter.
According to CTD officials, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Chiniot area. The terrorist resisted during the operation. There was an exchange of fire from both sides. According to the authorities, efforts are being made to identify the other terrorist who was killed along with Ghazanfar Nadeem.
The price of the terrorist’s head was set at Rs 25 lakh. Ghazanfar Nadeem was on the run since 2011 and various agencies were looking for him. Ghazanfar Nadeem was the mastermind of terrorism based on religious hatred. During the operation, ammunition and modern weapons have also been seized from the hideout of the terrorists.
According to CTD, Ghazanfar Nadeem alias Khalid Habib was known by different nicknames. The terrorist was involved in 11 major operations including the attack on the ISI office in Faisalabad. Terrorist was also involved in target killing along with Dera Ismail Khan suicide attack.
