The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recommended a national award for the medical staff who died in the line of duty due to the corona virus.
According to the Health Department, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recommended awarding Shujaat medal to 31 medical personnel.
The health department has said that the medical staff includes doctors, paramedics and nurses.
In this regard, Director General Health Services Dr. Shaukat Ali has said that the federal government had asked for the names of the martyrs to give the bravery medal.
He has also said that the health department will not forget the sacrifices of these martyrs.
