Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah started the final phase of rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy Lahore today.
Naseem Shah was injured during the Asia Cup in September, after which he underwent surgery in the UK.
After the surgery, Naseem Shah stayed in the UK for 2 months for rehabilitation and initial training.
The Pakistan Cricket Board bore all his medical expenses and expert medical staff took constant care of Naseem Shah during this time.
Naseem Shah’s rehabilitation is ongoing in Lahore under the supervision of a strength and conditioning coach, a physiotherapist and a doctor.
Currently, Naseem Shah is doing some light arm-length and partial bowling practice in the gym and will start batting from tomorrow.
