In Hyderabad, polio virus has been confirmed in environmental samples after two and a half years.
The District Health Officer says that the anti-polio campaign in Hyderabad has been extended for another 2 days.
According to the District Health Officer, the virus was confirmed in the sample taken from the Qasimabad pumping station, on November 8, the sample was taken to confirm the polio virus.
DHO says that polio virus was confirmed in sewage water in July 2021.
