While holding a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Wahab Riaz said that Salman Butt understands cricket, Salman Butt’s name has now been withdrawn.
He further said that there was no pressure from anyone, I had decided to make Salman Butt a consultant. Now I am also taking the decision to remove Salman.
Chief selector Wahab Riaz said that an attempt was made to spoil the Pakistan Cricket Board, the decision to withdraw Salman Butt’s name is mine alone.
