An educational program was organized by Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) for gold medal winning athletes in national games, the program gave instructions to the athletes regarding the preparation of their future competitions.
Gold medalist male and female athletes of various sports from across the country participated in the POA ‘Meet and Educate Athlete Program’ held at a local hotel in Lahore.
Meanwhile, the players asked questions about the order of participation in international competitions, nutrition, sports calendar and also received information regarding various other areas. Women athletes have raised questions about harassment and anti-doping during competitions.
Organizers including POA Secretary Khalid Mehmood answered the questions of the players. Other players of the country will also be invited for similar sessions in the future.
