All-rounder of Lahore Qalandz Hussain Talat has said that he wants to play long as a batting all-rounder for Pakistan.
Hussain Talat, while talking to Geo News in Karachi, said that Qalandars have started this season in the same way they ended the previous season.
Hussain Talat said that this is my first season with Lahore Qalandars, I am enjoying it a lot.
He said that the match between Karachi and Lahore is always great, everyone is excited. After the momentum and the atmosphere of the team, God willing, we will win this match too.
He said that my thinking is to fulfill the demand of the team, keep my personal goals aside and perform for the team.
Hussain Talat said that score less or score more, but the important thing is that this score is useful for the team.
The all-rounder said that the pitch in Multan was double piece, Multan’s bowling line is good. In the first match, Fakhar Zaman batted brilliantly in difficult conditions, his batting gave the later comers a chance to attack.
He said that after seeing the bowling, we were confident that we can defend the total. In any field, if performance is appreciated, it builds confidence.
Hussain Talat said that a person is happy when the performance is appreciated in every field including cricket. He was the player of the tournament in the Nepal Premier League, and the same award is up for grabs in the PSL.
He said that he is keen to make a comeback in the Pakistan team, having played for the last time in 2021 after which he was dropped.
