Wahab Riaz got clearance to become the chief selector of Pakistan cricket team

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi gave clearance to former cricketer Wahab Riaz to take over the post of Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team.

According to sources, Wahab Riaz will remain a part of the caretaker cabinet even after assuming the post of Chief Selector.

In this regard, the sources say that the Pakistan Cricket Board will soon issue a contract to make Wahab Riaz the chief selector.

It should be remembered that Wahab Riaz has already retired from international cricket and currently he has the portfolio of Sports Advisor Punjab.

It should be noted that earlier Inzamam-ul-Haq was the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team who resigned during the World Cup.
