Haroon Rashid appointed as the new chief selector of the national cricket team

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chairman Najam Sethi has announced that Haroon Rashid will be the new chief selector of the national team.

During a news conference in Lahore, Najam Sethi said that Haroon Rashid has been appointed as the chief selector of the national cricket team. He has resigned from the management committee.

Najam Sethi said that the Asian Cricket Council meeting will be held in Bahrain on February 4.

It should be noted that after Najam Sethi took over the management of PCB, Shahid Khan Afridi was appointed as the interim chairman of the national selection committee.

Shahid Afridi resigned from his post after the series against New Zealand.
