A Congo virus patient brought to Karachi for treatment from Quetta in Balochistan died.

According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department, the patient was transferred to a ventilator as his condition became critical.

The Sindh Health Department says that the patient was under treatment in the special Congo Ward at the Sindh Institute of Infectious Diseases Hospital, Nipa.

According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department, 12 patients infected with the Congo virus transferred from Balochistan to Karachi are undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

On the other hand, another patient has been admitted in the Congo Ward of the Sindh Institute of Infectious Diseases.
