Cricket’s world governing body has admitted its mistake regarding Test rankings.
The ICC released a statement saying that due to a technical error on the website, India temporarily became number one in the Test rankings.
The statement said that the ICC apologizes for this mistake.
It should be noted that due to ICC’s mistake, India started celebrating being the top team in all three formats.
After the error was rectified, Australia returned to number one in the Test rankings.
