The Prime Minister has condemned the violence against journalists by PTI workers in Lahore.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that respect for freedom of expression is the hallmark of civilized nations, an egoistic person spread the culture of intolerance in the nation.
He said that Imran Niazi filled the youth with the poison of intolerance and anarchy.
The Prime Minister said that the whole nation salutes the journalists who were victims of bullying in Lahore, I salute all those journalists who are conveying the truth to the nation despite such challenges.
He said that in the government of Imran Niazi, stories of cruelty were created on journalists, whoever questions Imran Niazi is subjected to torture.
The Prime Minister further said that the government will take all possible steps to protect journalists.
