Rawalpindi: Indictment proceedings against Chairman PTI Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case registered under the Official Secrets Act have been delayed.
Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be charged in the cipher case on October 23.
In the special court established in Adiala Jail, Special Judge Abul Hasanat Zul-Qarnain remarked that only indictment proceedings will be held on the next date.
Prosecutor Shah Khawar said to provide all the necessary copies of the cipher case challan, next date on October 23, the witnesses will be summoned along with the indictment. Lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat said that the morale of Chairman PTI is high.
The full copies of the challan were provided to the two accused Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
