Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has retained the number one position in the ODI format and will enter the World Cup with the same status.
ICC has released the ODI players ranking, according to which Babar Azam has retained the first position in the ranking of ODI batsmen, but the distance between India’s Shibman Gul and Babar Azam has narrowed further.
Babar Azam’s rating points remain at 857 while Shubman Gill’s rating points have increased from 814 to 847.
In the ranking, Pakistan’s Imam-ul-Haq has moved from the fourth to the fifth position, while Fakhar Zaman is at the 10th position.
In the ranking of ODI bowlers, India’s Mohammad Siraj remains the first while Australia’s Josh Hazlewood is second.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is fourth, New Zealand’s Trent Boult is fifth and Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi is at 8th position in the ranking.
Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan retains his number one ranking in ODI all-rounders.
