New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee has been declared fit for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
New Zealand Cricket says Tim Southee will join the World Cup squad in India this week.
According to New Zealand Cricket, Tim Southee is recovering from surgery due to a right thumb injury while fast bowler Kyle Jamieson is also likely to join the World Cup squad in India.
Note that Kyle Jamieson was not part of the World Cup squad, hence he will not be part of the warm-up match.
New Zealand is scheduled to play warm-up matches against Pakistan on Friday and South Africa on Monday.
