Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Punjab Dr. Javed Akram has said that if necessary, surgery will also be done on patients affected by fake injections.
Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram along with Caretaker Minister for Primary and Health Care Dr. Jamal Nasir held a press conference.
Dr Javed Akram said that the use of injection has been completely stopped, 68 cases affected by injection have been reported, all the victims are being treated.
He says that all kinds of facilities are being provided to the patients.
Dr. Javed Akram said that patients suffering from conjunctivitis should take precautionary measures.
It should be noted that the caretaker provincial minister for primary and health care of Punjab, Dr. Jamal Nasir, had said that those whose vision has been affected by injections will be treated free of charge.
Dr. Jamal Nasir while speaking in the morning show of Geo News, Geo Pakistan, said that this is not an emergency injection, it is made by a multinational company, which has been banned.
Dr. Jamal Nasir said that the injection is registered with Drip which is used for cancer.
