The fake vision-impairing injections were sent to a lab for quality and safety checks, while their sale was also stopped.
According to Drape sources, the offices of medicine distributors have been raided along with the provincial drug authorities.
During the sting operation, 110 vials of related injections were recovered from the distributors’ office.
According to DRAP sources, samples of the recovered injections have been sent to the drug testing lab in Lahore, while DRAP has stopped the distributors from selling the injections concerned.
Sources say that the drug testing lab will check the quality and safety of the respective injections.
