Punjab’s caretaker provincial minister for primary and health care, Dr. Jamal Nasir, says that those whose vision has been affected by the injection will be treated free of charge.

Dr. Jamal Nasir speaking in the morning show of Geo News, Geo Pakistan, has said that this is not an emergency injection, it is made by a multinational company, which has been banned.

Dr. Jamal Nasir has said that this injection is registered with Drip, which is used for cancer, according to research, if this injection is administered in a small amount to a diabetic patient, it can be avoided.

He has further said that the injection has been sent to the drug testing lab, it will take a week and ten days to get the report. The company that is responsible will be held accountable.

Provincial Caretaker Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir also says that it is like playing with human life, no one will be spared.

On the other hand, according to Dr. Rashid Qamar, principal of Nishtar Medical College, Multan, 3 infected patients have been reported so far in Nishtar Hospital.
