Caretaker Health Minister Punjab Dr. Nasir Jamal says that no operative of the fake injection selling network has been arrested yet.
According to the Caretaker Health Minister, after Lahore and Kasur, now Multan and Sadiqabad have also reported cases of vision impairment.
Dr. Nasir Jamal has said that separate dealers were selling fake injections in Lahore, Kasur, Multan and Sadiqabad.
The Caretaker Health Minister has also said that they are collecting the data of the people selling fake injections in different cities of Punjab.
It should be noted that home-made injections were revealed to be supplied to hospitals in Lahore.
The vision of 40 diabetic patients was affected by using substandard injections.
When the situation came to light, the administration and the caretaker government also swung into action, the fake injection manufacturing place was raided and sealed.
Two persons involved in making fake injections have been identified and arrest warrants have been issued.
Caretaker Health Minister Dr. Nasir Jamal has told ‘Jeo News’ during a telephonic conversation that an FIR has been filed against the sellers of fake injections.
