A 5-member committee has been formed to investigate the case of eye infection due to substandard injection

Punjab Caretaker Minister Primary and Secondary Health Care Dr. Jamal Nasir formed a 5-member committee on the issue of eye infection from substandard injections.

Dr. Jamal Nasir said that the committee will submit the report in 3 days after the investigation, the committee will also give suggestions to avoid such a situation.

He said that the convener of the committee is Dr. Asad Aslam Khan of King Edward Medical University while the members include DG Primary and Secondary Health Department Muhammad Sohail, Dr. Muhammad Moin, Dr. Tayyaba of Lahore General Hospital, Professor Dr. Mohsin of Services Hospital.

The caretaker provincial minister said that all doctors and patients are instructed not to use substandard injections, while medical stores, wholesalers and distributors should also not use substandard injections.
