Islamabad: Cameras installed to catch thieves in the federal capital have started to be stolen.
Safe City cameras worth Rs 120,000 outside the police station were stolen. The thieves took away the Safe City cameras installed outside the Margalla police station and the police remained in the dark for two weeks.
Although the cameras were turned off on the night of September 2, instead of taking action, it was limited to just writing a report, while the case of theft on September 2 was registered in Margalla police station on September 16.
