Azam Siddiq, father of national cricket team captain Babar Azam, has expressed his reaction to Pakistan’s exit from the Asia Cup after their defeat by Sri Lanka.
Azam Siddique has shared a photo of the national cricket team on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
Sharing this picture, he wrote that Salam Pakistan played the entire match with half the players and lost on the last ball but in this match I saw yesterday’s superstar bowler Zaman Khan who was bowling well even under intense pressure.
He wrote that winning and losing is part of the game, but the team fought hard despite being half.
Azam Siddiq wrote that Inshallah, when everyone is fit in the World Cup, the competitions will be enjoyable. See, Allah only sees the action done with intention and heart, He is the owner and acceptance is in His hands.
He wrote that I think the team gave their all. Let us be the team’s motivation and make their hearts bigger. This is patriotism. Long live Pakistan.
At the end of his post, he said that just after I spoke to Babar, he was unable to speak, so I told him that the brave win or learn but never break.
