ISLAMABAD (PNP) – Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the honourable members of the National Assembly for their unwavering support and solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces in response to recent Indian aggression.
In a formal letter addressed to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Air Chief acknowledged the National Assembly’s “thoughtful letter of felicitations” which was received with immense respect and appreciation by all ranks of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). He stated that the PAF values the prayers, encouragement, and unity expressed by parliamentarians during their speeches on the floor of the House.
Highlighting the national response to the hostile developments, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu credited the country’s success to “unified approach by all elements of national power and above all Allah’s special blessings.” He emphasized that the Pakistani nation stood united with their Armed Forces to thwart enemy designs and proved that it is well-prepared to face challenges with “courage and characteristic aplomb.”
Reflecting on the resilience and determination of the PAF, the Air Chief remarked: “We, in PAF, bow our heads in complete humility before Allah Almighty for enabling us to defend the aerial frontiers of our dear motherland in keeping with our nation’s expectations.”
He further assured the Speaker that the Pakistan Air Force remains fully committed to supporting all national causes and is ever-ready to extend its full capabilities whenever the country calls upon it.
The letter concludes with well wishes for Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s health and personal well-being, and conveys the Air Chief’s highest consideration for the leadership of the National Assembly.
