National MMA Championship 2023 concluded successfully at Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Coaching Center Karachi.
Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Federation and Sindh Mixed Martial Art Association successfully organized the two-day mega event in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board.
Sindh won the championship with 125 points, Punjab was runner-up with 70 points and Balochistan was third with 65 points. Pakistan Customs and SSU bagged the fourth and fifth position respectively.
Oman Sadiq DSP Customs Intelligence, Zulfiqar Ali Sadar Mixed Martial Arts Federation, Commissioner Karachi Sports Advisor Ghulam Mohammad Khan, DSP Haji Abdul Razak SSU, Naveen Naidu CEO Traft Gym attended the inauguration ceremony.
Deputy Consul General of Japan Nakagawa, Consul General of Russia Ruslan Prokhorov, Consul General of Oman Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari, Consul General of Malaysia Harmin Hardinata Ahmed, Deputy Consul General of Malaysia, Imran Yusuf, Director of PSB Karachi Center, Tariq Ali, Chairman of Pakistan Mixed Martial Federation and P. Apart from JJF Secretary General, along with many other dignitaries from the Ministry of Sports and Civil Administration of Sindh, participated in the closing ceremony.
All federation units of Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation participated in the event held in Karachi.
For the first time in the history of Pakistan’s martial arts, Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation launched the official song “ITS THE WAY”. The local singer inspired the young and talented players of MMA sports with the official anthem of Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation.
It was the first time that the National Championship of MMA was held in Karachi and a historic event in Pakistan where for the first time departmental teams (Special Security Unit of Sindh Police and Pakistan Customs) were part of the event.
