Indian Cricket Board BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla says that the 2004 and 2006 series were the golden era of India-Pakistan relations.
Addressing the dinner at Governor House Lahore, Rajeev Shukla said that the Asia Cup gave me an opportunity to visit Lahore once again.
He said that he has visited Lahore many times, he loves this city, the hospitality here is amazing, the attitude of the people is surprising.
Rajeev Shukla said that the game of cricket establishes relations between two countries, all the players are famous in our country as well.
He said that Jawaharlal Nehru had also come to the governor’s house here, I have also come with Vajpayee to the governor’s house here.
BCCI Vice President said that India is hosting the World Cup and we already welcome all the teams.
He said that he hopes the Asia Cup will be good.
Rajeev Shukla said that I feel happy coming to Pakistan, in 2004 the Indian team visited Pakistan.
