The State Bank of Pakistan has said that reports of an emergency monetary policy meeting are baseless.
The State Bank of Pakistan has said in a statement that it is premature to predict the future policy rate, the Monetary Policy Committee is the statutory body to decide the interest rate.
The statement also said that the meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee is on September 14 in which the decision on the interest rate will be taken.
