The application against the hearing of the cipher case in Attock Jail is scheduled for hearing with objection

The Islamabad High Court objected to the petition of Chairman PTI against conducting the hearing of the cipher case in Attock Jail and fixed the petition for hearing.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Umar Farooq will hear the petition filed against the notification issued by the Ministry of Law to interrogate Chairman PTI in jail. The registrar office also released the cause list of the case.

In the petition, it has been requested that the notification to transfer the special court in Attock jail should be annulled.

The petition has also challenged the authority of the judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court Number One to hear the cases registered under the Official Secrets Act, in which the basic quality of his wife has also been questioned.

It has been argued in the petition that the judges of the Anti-Terrorism Court One do not even meet the basic qualification criteria required in this case.

The said application was filed by Chairman PTI through lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat. In which Secretary Law, Home, Chief Commissioner, IG and DG FIA, Superintendent Adiala Jail and Superintendent Attock Jail have been made parties.
