The PCB Management Committee has approved the budget for the next financial year

A meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Chairman Zaka Ashraf, in which the members approved the board’s budget for the financial year 2023-2024.

PCB spokesperson says that in the meeting, Rs 70, 70 lakh grants were also approved for blind and wheelchair cricket associations.

Zaka Ashraf also briefed the members on the ICC meeting and the new financial model.

In the meeting led by Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf, a proposal was made to transfer the electricity system of the stadiums to solar system, which was approved.

This decision was taken keeping in mind the future to avoid power shortage. The PCB will survey the various stadiums and identify the places where solar panels can be installed and wherever possible the requirement of solar energy will be met.

In the first phase, Gaddafi Stadium and National Cricket Academy in Lahore will be shifted to solar system, then this system will be installed in other stadiums.
