Lahore: It has been revealed that 5 official pistols were stolen from the police station of the capital of Punjab.
According to police of police station township of Lahore, five American company Breta pistols kept in the police station have been stolen from the warehouse.
13 police officers and officials have been named in an IR after registering a case of theft of arms.
According to the authorities, the case was registered under Section 409 of the police complaint on the orders of DIG Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi, after which the FIR was sealed and departmental proceedings were started.
According to police officials, ASI Tariq Aziz, Head Constables Sanaullah, Shahzad Iqbal, Head Constables Sulaiman, Shabbir, Arif and Arshad, Constables Sajid, Ahsan, Umar, Harith, Raza and Saeed have been named as accused in the case.
