A month and a half away from the World Cup, once again the clouds of change in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are beginning to hover. The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination has written a letter to the Prime Minister House for a decision on the future of Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf.

Zaka Ashraf was appointed chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s management committee in July. Earlier, he was nominated to the PCB Board of Governors by PCB pattern Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the wish of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the government’s ally.

However, Zaka Ashraf was not elected as the chairman due to a court injunction, after which a management committee was formed and Zaka Ashraf was appointed as its head.

After the end of the term of the parliamentary government, the Election Commission had asked to cancel all appointments made on political grounds, on which the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination has written a letter for the orders of the Prime Minister on two names including Zaka Ashraf.

In a letter written to the Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary, Secretary IPC Hanif Orakzai has written that the names of Zaka Ashraf and Federal Land Commission Chairman Pir Syed Ahmed Nawaz Shah under the supervision of the Ministry, Prime Minister’s Office regarding their future. Give instructions.

It should be noted that if Zaka Ashraf is also removed from the post, the new chairman will be the fourth chairman of PCB in less than a year.
