Lahore: The Lahore Special Court rejected the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) move to give a clean chit to Prime Minister’s son Sulaiman Shehbaz in the Rs 16 billion money laundering case and summoned Sulaiman Shahbaz on March 4.
The judge of the Special Central Court has summoned the lawyers on March 4 to discuss the acquittal plea of Sulaiman Shehbaz in the money laundering case. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s son Sulaiman Shahbaz appeared in the court and completed his attendance.
During the hearing, FIA submitted a new report regarding the witnesses to the court. In light of the new FIA report, the lawyer of Parsliman Shehbaz asked for time to submit arguments on the plea of acquittal. The court accepted the request of Sulaiman Shahbaz’s lawyer and adjourned the hearing till March 4.
