India tops number of zero-dose children, World Health Organization

According to the World Health Organization, India is at the top in terms of the number of zero-dose children, while Pakistan is at the eighth position in the world.

In this regard, the World Health Organization says that last year 2.7 million children in India were deprived of all kinds of vaccines.

According to the WHO, Nigeria is the country with the highest number of children missing the measles vaccine, with 3.1 million children missing the measles vaccine.

WHO says that 611,000 children in Pakistan did not receive a single vaccine dose last year.

According to WHO, 1.2 million children in Pakistan were deprived of measles vaccine last year.

According to the World Health Organization, the number of zero-dose children worldwide last year was 1.43 million, while in 2021, the number of children deprived of one or more vaccines was around 2.5 million.
