Electricity has been increased by Rs 1 24 paise per unit as part of the quarterly adjustment.

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification for the quarterly adjustment of electricity price.

According to Nepra’s notification, the hike will be applicable on July, August and September bills.

In the notification, Nepra says that this increase in electricity prices will not be applicable to the consumers of electricity.

Nepra’s notification states that this increase in electricity prices will burden the consumers by Rs 46 billion and 53 crore.

It should be noted that the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) approved the hike in electricity prices last week.
