Trade activities started between Pakistan and Russia by land route. Cargo vehicles carrying merchandise from Moscow entered Pakistan via Torkham.
Two freight vehicles carrying yarn and gram from Moscow entered Pakistan through Torkham border.
It should be noted that the Pak-Russia trade agreement was concluded in Moscow in March 2023
Under this agreement, Pakistan will export 26 items including rice, medicines, fruits and sports goods to Russia.
Similarly, 11 items including petroleum products, liquefied natural gas (LNG), wheat and yarn will be imported from Russia.
