After the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden, the Day of Sanctification of the Quran will be celebrated across Pakistan on Friday. Shops in Karachi will be closed for two hours in protest.
A meeting of the business community was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of the convener of the Tradesmen Action Committee, Muhammad Rizwan Irfan, in which the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden was strongly condemned and a full protest was decided.
The traders of Karachi say that tomorrow the markets of the city will be closed from 2 pm to 4 pm in protest.
The main protest of the business community will be held at Regal Chowk Sadar from 3 to 4 pm, there will be peaceful demonstrations and recitation of Holy Quran in all markets of the city.
